I’m getting closer to finishing the new album. I’ve been tracking in Nashville with producer Lew Curatolo and engineer Pete Green and I’m extremely pleased. It will have mostly my songs, including co-writes with Mike Blakely, Kent Finlay, Jan Landry, but it will also have a John Greenberg song, a Vince Leggett song and a Walt Wilkins tune. The cuts recorded with Tejas in Italy will be available to the fan club as download only.

You’ll never guess who dropped in to see what was going on. First, Aaron Tippin, then Daryl Worley and John Anderson, then Richie McDonald former lead singer of Lone Star, then Lorrie Morgan and finally Clint Black. There are several studios within the same complex and we had assembled a great team of players so I guess they were curious. I’ll keep you posted as to the release date.
