The five shows this past seven days: Voice of America, Lampasas KCYL Acoustic Series, Escondido, Silver K Café, and White Elephant were drastically different in nature, but with one common thread. At the Washington D.C. recording for Voice of America I will reach approximately 250 million folks with their international broadcast; at the KCYL Acoustic show I'll reach several hundred folks. At Escondido, a world class private club and golfing Mecca, I wore my Manuel jacket and played a variety of covers favorite covers mixed with my originals. At the Silver K Café fans drove from different parts of Texas to hear their jam favorites from previous albums and to buy my new CD Purgatory Road. At the White Elephant in Fort Worth I joined many singer-songwriters, including Walt Wilkins, Susan Gibson, and Tommy Alverson, to play a house concert setting with no talking allowed. The common theme, I ran into someone at every stop who remembered me from Nashville Star.
